Can I use Sitebear Portal on my phone?
Yes. Install Sitebear Portal on your phone and open it like an app. Phone notifications tell you when important activity needs your attention.
Is Sitebear Portal the same as Customer Hub?
No. Portal is the private app for you and your team. Customer Hub is the branded customer-facing area for bookings, quotes, invoices, payments, messages, files, reviews and repeat work.
Are Booking Requests confirmed automatically?
No. Customers can request a service and preferred time, but you decide whether to accept, decline or reschedule the request before the work is confirmed.
Can I take payments through Sitebear?
Yes. Sitebear can take paid bookings, quote deposits and invoice payments through Stripe. Sitebear adds no booking commission or payment markup; Stripe fees apply.
Does Sitebear Portal replace my accounting software?
No. Sitebear can create quotes and invoices, track paid and outstanding amounts and keep payment status with the customer or job, but it is not a full accounting replacement.
How do I request a website change?
Open Support & Updates in Portal, describe the change and attach the new wording, image or document. Sitebear replies in the same conversation, and unlimited standard website updates are included.
